CG Leader - TNG Youth

Description

• Part of a team that works towards building a cross-generational ministry in an Intentional Disciplemaking Church
• Adult/Young Adult Leader who:
• Shepherds - builds relationships and cares for CG, nurtures acceptance in the community as a safe place for encouragement and edification
• Teaches - facilitates discipleship discussions and encourages CG to grow in the Lord
• Leads - models for the CG what a disciple is
• Nurture - nurture new youth believer in the Cg who wants to find out more about Christian faith.

Criteria

• A Christian who is regularly attending Covenant EFC worship service
• Believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and final authority for all Christian faith and life
• Has a regular devotional time with God
• Preferably attending a Covenant Group (CG)
• A heart and calling to serve and disciple youths
• Able to relate with youths
• Possess a good moral standing
• Confident in relating with youths as a group and individually. Must have some experiece in leading groups, and willing to develop skills in this area

Commitment

• Every Sunday to attend Youth service and lead CG time
• Meeting with Zone Mentor once a month (1 hour)
• CG Leadership Touchdown (for all CG leaders) quarterly
