Part of a team that works towards building a cross-generational ministry in an intentional disciplemaking church
Adult/Young Adult Leader who:
Shepherds - builds relationships and cares for young children, helps young children to relate with one another, and teaches boundaries.
Teaches - shares biblical stories with young children through story-telling and creative ways (e.g. art and craft).
Leads - models for the young children what a disciple is
Guides a youth apprentice (aged 15-18) attached to DMK to take on some leadership roles in the group
Lead big-group teaching or small-group discussion with kids
Criteria
Christian who is regularly attending Covenant EFC worship service
Believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and final authority for all Christian faith and life
Has a regular devotional time with God
Preferably attending a Covenant Group (CG)
Must be able to relate with children, possess good moral standing
Positive attitude towards learning and receiving correction
Team-player
Confident in relating with children individually and as a group. Good to have some experience in leading children or willing to develop skills in this area.
Commitment
Minimum 1 year
Serve twice a month, at any one of the Sunday services.
Attends DMK meetings at regular intervals.
Serve in either Lower Primary or Upper Primary level
Attends centre/corporate leadership meetings or events (e.g. GOM, Leaders' Touchdown)
