Volunteer Mentors - NLCS Youth Services
- Establish a 6-month mentoring relationship with 1 to 2 youths from our hubs to set and work on 1 to 2 of the mentoring goals found in our Youth Mentoring curriculum
- Spend 2 months getting to know the youths in our hubs at the end of which challenge 1 to 2 youths of the same gender to embark on a 6-month mentoring journey
- We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about creating positive changes in the lives and attitudes of youths, so much so as to be willing to invest time and create space for them in their lives
- 2 months to get to know the youths (weekly attendance)
- 6 months to work on mentoring objectives (at least monthly meetings)
- Regular check-in with Staff Mentors
- Attend the training provided, 1 month ahead of the start of the programme
- Available runs in 2025:
- 1st Run - January
- 2nd Run - April
- 3rd Run - August
